  • We will reach out via call and/or text.

  • Group swim lessons and private lessons both have their benefits, but the choice often depends on your child’s personality, learning style, and goals. Here’s a comparison of the two:

    Group Lesson Benefits

    • Social Interaction: Group lessons provide a chance for children to interact with peers, which can help develop social skills like teamwork, cooperation, and communication.

    • Motivation and Peer Learning: Seeing other children achieve new skills can be motivating. It can also help kids pick up techniques or tricks from their peers, especially when they see others succeed.

    • Fun and Less Pressure: The group dynamic can create a fun, less intense environment. Sometimes, kids who might feel shy or nervous in a one-on-one setting feel more relaxed in a group.

    • Structure and Routine: Group classes tend to follow a set structure, so children know what to expect. This predictability can be reassuring, and the group setting can help maintain focus and discipline.

    • Skill Progression at a Group Pace: While it’s not as tailored as private lessons, group lessons can be great for kids who thrive in an environment where there’s a clear progression that they share with others.

     Private Lesson Benefits

    • Individualized Attention: Private lessons allow the instructor to tailor the lesson specifically to your child’s needs, learning pace, and abilities. If your child has any specific challenges or fears, the instructor can focus on helping them overcome those.

    • Faster Skill Development: Since the instructor’s full attention is on your child, they will progress faster, especially in areas where they need extra support or have specific goals.

    • Customization: Private lessons can be customized to your child’s interests or specific swimming goals.

    • Ideal for Shy or Anxious Kids: If your child is nervous or anxious about being in the water or around other children, private lessons might help them feel more comfortable and confident without the added pressure of a group setting.

Which One is Right for My Child?

    It depends on your goals!

    • Group classes are best for a child that is social and can stay focused in a group.

    • Group lessons are a great way to practice being in a “classroom” setting with other students/children

    • Private lessons are best for a child who prefers a one-on-one approach when learning or gets distracted in a group setting.

    • Every child is different, but generally 2 lessons per week will lead to faster improvement. Swimmer’s progress more rapidly with the opportunity to implement recently taught skills in the same week.

    • Because our team revolves around lesson quality and your kids making progress, 1 lesson per week is still a great option.

    • 2x per week is recommended for getting started strong and building your foundation.

Facilities & Safety

Facilities & Safety Questions

  • Our pool is heated 92 degrees year round. We believe ulta-warm water is essential to getting the most out of your learn-to-swim experience.

  • Since 2024, we’ve made significant investments in our pool systems, including a full filtration upgrade and the installation of a state-of-the-art UV sanitation system in December 2025. Together, these measures ensure consistently clean water, excellent clarity, and the highest standards of water quality.

  • Yes. All instructors are CPR and AED certified, and we maintain lifeguard supervision at all times, with guards in the water and/or on deck during lessons.

  • We use our own proprietary, level-based curriculum designed to build strong fundamentals, water safety, and progressive swimming proficiency at each stage. Lessons are intentionally kept in small groups, with beginner classes capped at a 3:1 swimmer-to-instructor ratio to ensure individualized attention and faster skill progression.

    • Instructor training is robust, with an onboarding process that typically takes about a month to complete before an instructor leads lessons independently. Initial training combines in-person education, hands-on in-water practice, and structured online coursework. This foundation is reinforced with ongoing in-service trainings to ensure consistency, safety, and continued instructional excellence.

    • Additionally, our hiring pool is top notch! In 2025 we hired less than 1 out of 20 resumes.

  • Our restroom facilities are brand new after a full remodel. We have two showers conveniently located on deck, as well as a shower in each of our restroom/changing rooms.
