Swim Instructor
On-site, Part-time, Hourly

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead engaging classes by following our set curriculum while keeping classes exciting
Create a safe, nurturing environment for students by ensuring safety comes first
Communicate like a pro with students, families, and staff members
Be a customer service champion by providing excellent service and a welcoming space
Support your team by building great relationships with fellow employees and instructors
Complete ongoing training and professional development to own your education
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience working with neurodiverse children
Must be at least 18 years of age
Candidate must be enthusiastic, team-oriented, and have a willingness to learn
Candidate must demonstrate a high level of care and compassion for children
Be able to work for a minimum of 1 year teaching at least 2 shifts per week and weekend availability
Be able to attend required staff trainings in addition to regular shifts
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to stand, walk, stoop, crouch or swim for up to 4 hours in the water
You may need to lift a child or swim lesson equipment (up to 50 pounds)
The pool environment is humid and warm, and it can get noisy, but it’s always fun!
COMPENSATION & SHIFT
$21 - $25/hour
Shifts are 3-5 hours
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Background check clearance
Willingness to undergo additional training in adaptive swim instruction
